The A. Marí was built in Palma de Mallorca in 1907 in an unknown shipyard.
With a length of 9.4 m and a sleeve of 3.2 m, it was initially dedicated to cabotage, being the only link between Cala Sant Vicenç and Ibiza, later it was dedicated to tourist transport and leisure.
A project was documented in La Drassana with the aim of returning it to its original state. It lasted about eleven months.
Following this document, the restoration work began by dismantling the cabin seen in the non-original image. The roof was also completely removed because it was in very poor condition and work began on the structural part. The leaks through the cabin and the lack of ventilation caused by it caused most of the notebooks under it to show rotten areas that needed to be replaced.
