Continuing Education

Goal

Training aimed at transmitting the profession of shipwright through practice alongside that shipwright. You will be trained in setting up and using the tools in order to be able to do the best jobs. You will know everything that surrounds wood, how to recognize it, choose it, work it and treat it. You will understand what a wooden boat is and you will learn to work with them, both to design and build them and to repair them within their diversity.

Students

Anyone interested in learning the craft of shipwright is suitable for training

The practices will be carried out on boats from the recovery center. The main boat assigned for continuing education is the Tenaz. It was for many years the practical ship of the port of Barcelona built in 1971.
