Goal
In this course you will be able to identify the most common woods and their main characteristics, the work tools, how to set them up and how to work with them. We will teach you how to make small renovations that you can undertake and give you the main tips to keep the wood of your boat in good condition. If you don’t have a boat and you like wood, we’d love to have you with us.

- Woods. Types, properties, uses and use
- Tools, tuning (sharpening, adjustment), uses.
- Assessing the condition of a ship. Previous analysis. Approaching a restoration project.
- Practices with tools (bounce, chisel, saw, false square, compass…)
- Replacing a liner table. Preparation.
